Editorial policy
Lively Garden Journal aims to make urban gardening easier to understand and more enjoyable to explore. We write with care, distinguish general ideas from firm facts and make changes when a page needs correction.
Accuracy and clarity
We check statements against the material available to us and write within what we can support. When a topic depends on a garden's particular conditions, we say so rather than presenting one answer as universal. Readers can contact us through the Contact page to identify a possible error; we review specific, actionable corrections and update text when warranted.
Editorial independence
Editorial choices belong to the publication. A commercial relationship does not guarantee coverage, a favourable view or control over unrelated editorial material. We consider whether a proposed subject is relevant to readers and whether any relationship should be disclosed.
Partner material
Paid, gifted or otherwise partner-supported material is clearly labelled where it appears. The label should help readers understand the relationship before they rely on that content. Partner links and placements are identified as such, and their presence does not imply independent endorsement.
Illustrations
Some illustrations are AI-generated. We identify them where they appear so readers can distinguish illustrative imagery from photographs or other images.
